Evert Dekker specialises in commercial law (including drafting international purchase agreements, advising on delivery terms and security interests), transport law (road, rail and air transport and related activities such as forwarding, transshipment and storage), insurance law (business liability insurance, CAR insurance, goods insurance and machinery and equipment insurance, as well as excess insurance and reinsurance). Evert also deals with liability law and has extensive experience in handling complex damage cases (including in the construction industry).
Evert started working as a lawyer in 2013. After completing his professional training in 2016, he completed the Grotius Specialist Course in National and International Contracting in 2019. He is a member of the Dutch Transport Law Association and the Young Bar. Evert has published several articles in Tijdschrift voor de Procespraktijk, Nederlands Juristenblad and elsewhere. He has registered the General Practice (Civil Law) area of law in the Register of Legal Areas at the Netherlands Bar.
