Paul is an endowed professor of Intellectual Property Law at the University of Groningen. He has extensive experience as a lecturer, researcher and adviser in the field of intellectual property law and inquiry law.
He also works as an independent legal adviser in the following areas of law: copyright law, design law, trademark law, trade name law, database law, unfair commercial practice law, misleading and comparative advertising law and unlawful competition.
Paul is also a senior lecturer in the Professional Training Programme for Benelux Trademark and Design Agents, lecturer in the State Training Programme for Patent Agents and deputy judge at the Amsterdam District Court (Netherlands Commercial Court).
