Since the beginning of his career, Wouter has worked as a lawyer in the Alkmaar area. Born and raised in the province of Noord-Holland and coming from an entrepreneurial family, Wouter knows better than most what is important for business owners in this area of the country and how to take the burden off their shoulders. Wouter thus fits perfectly within the Corporate Law practice group in the Alkmaar office, where he provides advice and litigates, especially in connection with liability issues, starting and ending collaborative ventures and performance conflicts with suppliers/principals. He is also experienced in drafting and reviewing agreements and imposing attachments. In his insolvency law practice, he advises and litigates in cases relating to directors' liability, fraudulent preferences, financing and security and other issues, and handles bankruptcies as (acting) trustee.
In his spare time, Wouter is a fanatical tennis player and golfer and he enjoys running. He has also played football for many years and enjoys going skiing. While playing sports, Wouter tries to get the best out of himself. This is also how he represents his clients' interests; sharp and with a drive to win.
